KustomSite

Useful project context, provided once.

Every step says what I need from you and roughly how long it takes, because the honest constraint on a build is almost never the build.

Our process

Clarity at every step.

From a single, well-scoped brief to a finished site, the work moves through a focused process that keeps things clear, calm and on track.

  1. Clear scope

A focused brief sets the direction.
  2. Considered design

    Intentional choices create lasting work.
  3. Solid build

    Clean, reliable development.
  4. Ongoing support

    Optional care after launch.
  1. 01

    Free consultation

A 30-minute call about your business, your customers and what the website actually needs to do. No pitch deck, no pressure.

You provide · Half an hour and an honest account of what is not working. · Typically · Same or next day

  2. 02

    Written proposal

A fixed price with the scope written down — what is included, what is not, how many revision rounds, and the timeline.

You provide · A decision. The proposal expires so the price stays honest. · Typically · Within 24 hours

  3. 03

    Deposit and onboarding

A 50% deposit starts the work. You get a private link to an onboarding questionnaire built specifically for your industry.

You provide · The deposit, and access to any existing accounts or domains. · Typically · Day 1

  4. 04

    Your details, once

The questionnaire asks the things that actually change the build — your services, your service area, your competitors, what you want visitors to do. Save and return from any device.

You provide · Your logo, photos, and around 30–45 minutes. · Typically · 2–5 days, at your pace

  5. 05

    Design and build

Built custom from your answers. Mobile-first, fast, and structured so search engines and customers both understand it.

You provide · Nothing — this part is on me. · Typically · 2–3 weeks

  6. 06

    Your review

A private preview link. You give feedback in one pass; I make the changes. Your revision rounds are counted and visible to both of us.

You provide · Consolidated feedback. · Typically · 2–3 days

  7. 07

    Launch

Domain, SSL, analytics, redirects from the old site, and a walkthrough so you know how to use what you own.

You provide · Domain access, if I do not already have it. · Typically · 1 day

  8. 08

Ongoing care, if you want it

Hosting, updates, backups, monitoring and a monthly edit allowance. Optional, month to month, and never a condition of the build.

    Typically · Monthly

FAQ

Questions before you start your website.

  1. How much does a website cost?

Most business websites are $2,400: custom design, every page the business needs, contact forms, booking, e-commerce and launch included. Projects that go beyond a typical business website — custom web applications, portals, marketplaces — are scoped and quoted individually.

  2. How long does it take?

Around three weeks for a custom business website, measured from when I have your content and photos. The honest constraint is usually how quickly the questionnaire and photos come back, not the build itself.

  3. What do you need from me?

Your logo if you have one, photos of your work or premises, and about 30–45 minutes to complete an onboarding questionnaire. You can save it and come back from any device. If you do not have photos, we will talk about options on the call.

  4. Do I have to pay everything up front?

No. A 50% deposit starts the work and the balance is due before launch. Financing may be available on larger projects.

  5. What if I already have a website?

Then we start by looking at what is working, because something usually is. Rankings, page URLs and content that already perform get carried across with proper redirects rather than thrown away.

  6. Do I need a maintenance plan?

No. Care plans are optional and month to month. They cover hosting, updates, backups, security monitoring and a monthly edit allowance. If you would rather host it yourself and handle your own updates, that is fine and the site is yours.

  7. Who owns the website when it is done?

You do — the domain, the content and the site itself. Nothing is locked to a platform you cannot leave.

  8. Will my website show up on Google?

Every site is built with proper page titles, descriptions, heading structure, structured data and fast load times, and is submitted to Google. That is the technical foundation ranking depends on. Ranking itself also depends on your competition and your local market, so I will not promise a position — anyone who does is guessing.
